Northern Nevada Free Pollinator-Friendly Seed Packets and Raffle for a Mason Bee/Butterfly House - May, 2020
Free Seed Packets
1,000 pollinator-friendly native and non-native wildflower seed packets will be given away through the end of May in the Reno, Nevada, and by mail for the greater Northern Nevada Area. Each seed packet includes seed for a 4' x 4' flower patch that includes annuals and perennials that will add beauty to the garden, help support our native and non-native pollinators and help attract and give homes to beneficial insects that offer natural protection for your garden. Each packet includes a website address with instructions on how to properly plant the seeds in either spring or fall.
The seeds will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be distributed through community groups as well to Great Basin Coop Dropp seedling sale customers, and Down- to-Earth Compost gardening customers. At least 100 packets will be available if you mail us a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope to 7237 Leonardo Ct., Sun Valley, NV 89433, attention GoGreenLocally corp. Please call us at 775-622-9608 and verify if we still have packets left before mailing us your envelope.
We are raffling off one Mason Bee/Butterfly Home for the garden. Participation in the raffle is limited to people living in the Northern Nevada area and the prize winner will need to make an address available, so the prize can be either mailed or delivered in person.
