Florida Climate Institute Event: Drought and Aquatic Ecosystems in the Southeast Workshop | virtual

The CLEO Institute, the largest non-profit in the state of Florida exclusively dedicated to climate science literacy, partnered with The University of South Florida Patel College of Global Sustainability to host the second annual Climate and Food Policy Certification Course for Summer Cohort 2021.

This virtual certification course is open to faculty, staff, students, professionals, and the public during the month of July and will take place Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 (more details attached).

The 5-week course aims to provide attendees with interactive classes from experts in the field that focus on Food and Agriculture, Equitable Food Policy, Extreme Heat and Agriculture and Civic Action. Additionally, participants will complete the course equipped with tools and knowledge to advocate for agricultural policies on either the local, state, national, or global level.
