Sustainability:

There are multiple types of bio based resins, some of which are biodegradable and some of which are made of renewable materials. The sustainability of the resin depends on the formula, but most can be considered more sustainable than synthetic resin.

Potential Chemical Exposure:

Some similar risks are still present with bio resins as synthetic resins, mainly due to the fact that the same chemicals can be used in less amounts.

Safe Handling Recommendations:

Same user saftey applies as synthetic resins.

Eco-Friendly Alternatives:

A resin that is fully plant based would be the most ideal in terms of sustainability, though it may cost more and not be as strong.

Many resins use cases can be replaced with either a bio resin or a completely different product.
