When communities come together to sow, plant, and tend gardens, it's not just the plants that grow. No one is too old or too young to get involved and everyone can benefit.

 

Everyone can benefit from growing something at home, or in a community space. Even if they don't have any outside space, they can get growing on a sunny windowsill.

 

But growing/going it alone is not always the best way. Sometimes, it's more successful, sustainable and fun when gardening together. It can improve our skills, share struggles & successes, save money, and in the end makes our communities greener, healthier and happier places to be.
