Our Never List™ has 1,800 harmful/ questionable chemicals we never use in any of our products. We meticulously screen for safety and source responsibly - so you will never have to sacrifice safety and peace of mind for performance. But we go beyond clean -- we also educate consumers on ingredient safety, and advocate for an update of outdated laws regulating the beauty industry. Our mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone, and we are committed to changing the beauty industry for the better!

As part of our Social Mission, we are also committed to the following: screening for trace contaminants, 100% transparency with ingredients, commitment to responsible sourcing of raw ingredients, sustainable packaging, reducing our environmental footprint, our supplier code of conduct to ensure no child or forced labor is in our supply chains. We have teamed up with our Science Advisory Board of leading researchers (on cancer, environmental, maternal/ adolescent, endocrine health) and also with researchers at Tufts University to explore the health effects of ingredients found in personal care products.

Our certifications include B Corp and Leaping Bunny, and over 1/3 of our products are EWG Verified. We have consistently scored high in the Chemical Footprint Project, are a CarbonFree partner of Carbonfund.org and an active member of the American Sustainable Business Council and the Safe Cosmetics Business Network.
