Oxbow Nature Study Area

Oxbow Nature Study Area is a 22-acre conservation area and public access nature space. The nature study area is jointly managed by the Nevada Department of Wildlife and the City of Reno. Located along the Truckee River, it is home to a diverse array of flora and fauna, including a variety of bird species, fish, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians.

Visitors to the Oxbow Nature Study Area can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, birdwatching, picnicking, and nature photography.
